Updates on KKDIK Pre-registrations

From 23 -29 December 2020, the Turkish Chemical Registration IT system – KKS – will be closed due to maintenance on their applications and system. Therefore, KKDIK pre-SIEF submissions (pre-registrations) cannot be submitted during this period of time because of the aforementioned reason. However, on 30 December 2020 the KKS IT system will be available again so that companies can continue submitting their pre-registrations to the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization – MoEU.

Furthermore, the MoEU has also announced that the pre-registration function in the KKS IT System will continue operating also after the 31 December 2020 (https://kimyasallar.csb.gov.tr/kayit-sureci-yaklasiyor/331). Nevertheless, the MoEU recommends companies to submit their pre-registrations by the 31st of December 2020 to help initiating the joint registration process and recommends companies that won’t be able to pre-register by 31.12.2020 to pre-register as soon as possible.

Keep in mind that the registration period will start from 1 January 2021 and therefore, it is very important that you enrol in the SIEF communications -by pre-registering your substances as soon as possible – to facilitate the registration process of your substances and avoid disruptions in your supply.
