REACHLaw attending the upcoming 4th Quarterly Meeting 2025 of the COGD

We are pleased to announce that our Senior Legal Advisor Tim Becker has been invited to provide a presentation on “REACH+ Update on EU Chemicals Legislation – Focus on the Electronics Sector” to the members of the COGD (Component Obsolescence Group Deutschland) e.V. at the upcoming 4th Quarterly Meeting 2025 of the COGD next week, on 10th December (in German language).

Tim’s review will focus on “hot topics” for the electronics sector such as

  •  The state of play of the universal PFAS restriction process
  •  Recent additions to the EU POPs Regulation (e.g. Dechlorane Plus)
  • New exemptions under RoHS for various applications of lead metal
  •  The future of SCIP and ongoing activities for the Digital Product Passport

REACHLaw has been supporting the COGD and its “REACH & SCIP” Working Group since 2021, gradually extending from SCIP to other chemicals regulatory challenges for the sector.
