Turkey KKDIK: Companies have submitted over 95 000 pre-registrations to the MoEUCC
The current statistics show that the Ministry of Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change (MoEUCC) in Turkey has received more than 95000 pre-registrations representing more than 15000 substances from companies manufacturing in or importing chemicals into Turkey but also from Turkish Only Representatives of Non-Turkish manufacturing/formulating legal entities. REACHLaw Turkey as Only Representative of our Non-Turkish based clients have submitted successfully more than 5000 pre-registrations to the MoEUCC.
Currently, the MoEUCC continues processing and verifying the reference substances in order to maintain the efficient SIEF formation activity and has informed that the KKDIK pre-registration functionality in the Turkish Chemical Registration System (KKS) will continue operating until the 31st of December 2023. Therefore, companies willing to pre-register more substances still can do it to secure their supply of chemical substances to the Turkish market until the 2023 KKDIK registration deadline. Please keep in mind that from 1 January 2024 only registered substances must be placed on the Turkish market and therefore, you need to start working on your registration dossier(s) upon successful submission of your pre-registration(s) to the MoEUCC.
