BIS Invites Comments on Draft Standard for Textiles — Filled Jacket — Specification
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has issued a draft Indian Standard titled:
“TEXTILES — FILLED JACKET — SPECIFICATION” (Doc. No. TXD 20: 27651, October 2025).
This draft specifies the requirements and performance criteria for down/feather and synthetic fibre–filled jackets, ensuring quality, safety, durability, and consumer comfort.
Last date for sending comments: 31st October 2025
Stakeholders from the textile industry, manufacturers, testing laboratories, exporters, and consumers are invited to review the draft and share their feedback with BIS.
