Actions to help SME registrants
First-time REACH registrant? EU and industry directors recommend following actions for companies and ECHA to help first-time SME registrants to access the data and the joint submission with reasonable effort.
- Reducing the costs of data for 1-10 tonne registrants
- Addressing situations caused by late data-sharing negotiations or pending dispute decisions
- Reducing the cost burden on SMEs by allowing payment in installments to access the data
- Offering a low-cost affordable lump sum payment option for 1-10 tonne registrants
