Announcement on KKDIK Registration Processes: KKS Dossier Submission Now Possible

The Registration module is now active on KKS in the “Substance Management” tab, which is used to submit KKDIK Registrations.

1. In order to submit registrations, following processes must be followed as per the KKDIK Regulation and the Procedures and Principles for the Implementation of the KKDIK Regulation:

  • Completing the Pre-SIEF submission processes
  • Ensuring SIEF communication for each substance and electing Lead Registrants
  • Signing of extensive Agreements by and between Lead Registrants and potential registrants, covering all matters regarding the fulfilment of joint registration obligations
  • Managing the process by ensuring absolute majority regarding the matters covered by Article 8(4), under the definition of an “Agreement” in Article 2 of the Agreement and “Electing a Lead Registrant” in Article 8(3) stated in the Principles and Procedures.
  • Creating and submitting provisional registration/registration dossiers

2. Correspondences in the whole SIEF communication process must be kept to be presented to the Ministry upon request. If correspondences cannot be made through the KKS, any another communication platform may be used for such correspondences.

3. For provisional (temporary) registrations, the following flow must be followed on the KKS:

Left menu in KKS – Substance Management – Subject: Registration – Select the relevant substance – Go to substance – Template: KKDIK Provisional (Temporary) Registration – Submit Substance – Type of Registration: KKDIK Provisional (Temporary) Registration – I am making a joint submission: Yes – Submit substance

4. Once the Lead Registrant company completes Step 4, a notification will be sent to the member companies added to Section 1.5 by the Lead Registrant. The member companies must follow the steps below to complete the Provisional Registration process:

5. Companies that intend to individually complete the Provisional Registration process must follow the steps below:

  • Completing the Pre-SIEF submission processes
  • Sending the Ministry their intention for individual registration in writing, together with the relevant justification (as per the justifications in Article 12(3) of the Regulation)
