Ukraine CLP Notification Deadline Approaching – 15 November 2025
Under the Ukrainian CLP Regulation (UA-CLP), manufacturers, importers, or groups thereof must submit a C&L Notification for each hazardous substance placed on the market in Ukraine, with no tonnage threshold applying.
For substances placed on the market before 15 November 2024 (the date UA-CLP entered into force), the notification deadline is 15 November 2025. For substances placed on the market for the first time after this date, notification must be submitted within one month of market placement.
While discussions are ongoing in the industry regarding possible postponements under UA-REACH and UA-CLP, this particular C&L Notification deadline is expected to remain unchanged. Companies should therefore act accordingly and prepare their notifications in due time.
As under EU CLP, an Only Representative (OR) may act as a group coordinator and submit C&L Notifications on behalf of importers in Ukraine.
