Türkiye KKDIK: Current Status and the 2026 registration deadline

5th of September 2024
Join our upcoming webinar!

With the Türkiye KKDIK registration deadlines postponed at the end of 2023, and with the new deadlines now in place, REACHLaw is hosting an informative webinar to help companies affected by KKDIK registration requirements to understand the latest developments and make the most of this additional time to register.

The new KKDIK registration deadlines are:

  •  31.12.2026: >1 000 t/a substances, and ≥ 1 t/a CMR 1A and 1B substances, and >100 t/a substances that are very toxic to aquatic organisms (acute or chronic)
  • 31.12.2028: 100 – 1 000 t/a substances
  • 31.12.2030: 1 – 100 t/a substances

This webinar is an opportunity to get the latest information on the developments of the KKDIK registration process and get an understanding of what the next steps are in the process of registering substances, whether there is a Lead Registrant for the substance or not.

Therefore, if your business places chemical substances on the Turkish market subject to KKDIK registration requirement, we invite you to join this webinar on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1:00 PM EEST, where you will also have the option to ask questions.

Topics covered in the webinar:

  1. A brief overview of KKDIK
  2. The current status of the KKDIK registration process and how did we get here
  3. What do the registration deadline postponement mean for the industry?
  4. Actions to take for the first registration deadline in 2026, including what to do if there is no Lead Registrant yet
  5. Conclusions
  6. Questions & Answers
