Viktoriia Zhovnir

Viktoriia is a Regulatory Manager at REACHLaw Ukraine. She holds two master’s degrees in Hydrology and Public Administration, providing a strong interdisciplinary background in environmental policy and regulatory governance. She has over 10 years of experience in public administration, including several years in senior leadership positions. Most recently, Victoriia headed a structural division within a Ministry, where she was directly responsible for implementing and aligning EU REACH and CLP Regulations in Ukraine.

Victoriia has hands-on experience in transposing EU chemicals legislation, developing national regulatory frameworks, and coordinating with governmental and international stakeholders. She also actively contributed to the EU accession negotiation process on chemical safety and chemicals management. Her main areas of expertise include EU REACH and CLP implementation, regulatory harmonisation with EU legislation, chemicals management policy, and strategic development of national compliance systems for chemical safety.
