Ukraine has now implemented the REACH and CLP regulations together with the overarching Law on Chemical Safety – a regulatory journey that has included its share of challenges and uncertainties. Many companies have struggled to understand how to manage compliance during this short transitional period.

With some critical deadlines now officially postponed, the industry finally has an opportunity to digest the requirements and plan compliance activities properly. However, despite these extensions, there is no time to pause: compliance efforts must continue, as further extensions – especially for pre-registration and C&L notification – are very unlikely.
