Steve George

Steve George has a broad industrial background, having worked for 33 years within a large multi-national Aerospace and Defence company. Through this he has enterprise-wide cross-functional experience in engineering, supply chains functional management and programmes. He has experience working across industry sectors via trade associations, with the European Commission, ECHA, UK officials and parliamentarians. His “downstream” supply chain and complex product experience provides a valuable alternative perspective on chemical regulation challenges.

Steve has held significant trade association roles, chaired the European Aerospace and Defence REACH and Chemicals working group for 10 years and chaired a significant REACH Authorisation consortium.

Steve has had good working relations with management at all levels of organisations, effectively communicating on difficult issues around Brexit and supply obsolescence. He has post-graduate qualifications in both programme management, corporate governance. Steve provides management consultancy services as well as support related to chemical regulation management for companies and their supply chains.
