Mr. Kurkilahti has seen the rapid rise in the importance of regulatory compliance. Whereas regulatory compliance used to be an important but operational issue, it has become a strategic issue for many companies in different industry sectors. At the same time there is a growing consensus in the strategic importance of climate and environmental sustainability, but limited consensus in the means in affecting them. Companies have to operate under uncertainty.
REACHLaw combines specialized competencies in the field of law, technical and business matters into packaged service solutions. However, Mr. Kurkilahti sees that the starting point for the service offering should always be kept to that of the Customer – how to best meet his business requirements.
Lasse Kurkilahti
Mr. Lasse Kurkilahti is a highly respected top executive in Finland. He has been the CEO of several Finnish publicly listed companies, including Nokia Renkaat, Raisio Group, Elcoteq, etc. Before joining the board of REACHLaw Ltd as Chairman, he acted as the CEO of Finnish chemicals giant Kemira Group. In addition to his executive experience he has written several business books, of which the latest addresses corporate strategy.
